The FFMH-Y101 Eternal is a support ship created by ZAFT for the exclusive use of the Freedom and Justice Gundams during the First Junius War. Owing to the specific nature of its design, only one ship of the class was ever produced, which was stolen in CE 71 by Lacus Clyne and her supporters. It became her personal flagship during the last few battles of the Bloody Valentine War, after the end of which it was hidden in an asteroid factory maintained by the Clyne Faction.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

Once the fastest warship ever fielded by ZAFT, the spaceship Eternal was exclusively designed as a support craft for its nuclear-powered XA-series mobile suits, and in particular the X09A Justice and X10A Freedom; it equips two externally stored METEOR high-speed heavy-bombardment units designed for those two mobile suits, which function as beam cannon turrets when attached. Beyond those, its armament is comparatively light, consisting only of a single beam cannon and a large number of missile tubes. Only slightly larger than a Nazca-class, the Eternal has the same mobile weapon storage capacity, which it likewise deploys from a single frontal linear catapult.
